The Moment Choreographer’s Showcase spans 2 hours, containing a mixture of durational and finite dance works that will be occurring multiple times throughout the event. Guests will navigate through 620, stumbling upon dance happenings, interacting with dance via technology, and experiencing blossoming installation work.

The Collective is a unique dance intensive providing dancers with a series of immersive workshops that allow them to experience various dance career paths. Dancers will work with agencies and dance companies throughout the intensive as well as taking classes from various guest teachers.

Join us for the 10th Session of DanceBreak, an outlet for dance artists to talk about their practice, their work, and their goals for themselves and the community at large. This intimate dance conversation series continues via Facebook Live-stream with host Alexander Jones and featured dance artists Helen Hansen French and Lauren Slone.
The BEACON 2021 show includes when the petals fall choreographed by Alexander Jones, Immure by Helen Hansen French, Cogs in the Machine choreographed by Christina Acosta,Confluence by Erin Cardinal and Brian Fidalgo II and Journey to Freedom: I remember that Night like it was Yesterday. created and performed by Charlotte Johnson, Luis Alicea, Deven Filer, Stefanie Maisonet.

projectALCHEMY has been invited to participate in Holding Common Ground: Pathways to Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.
The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, in collaboration with Tampa Pride, is excited to announce its upcoming event, the LGBTea Party! It will be held during Tampa's Pride Week, where we will be celebrating the vibrant LGBT and arts community here in Tampa Bay.
Programming will include live body painting featuring artist Nicole Hays from "Skin Wars". Our own prominent FMoPA member, Michael Sheehan, MD., will be photographing the art and providing a dazzling pop up show with some of Nicole's past works. A portion of the University of South Florida’s LGBT collection will be on view throughout the event. Special performances will be given by the Tampa Pride Band and dancers from Project Alchemy led by Alex Jones.
Delicious tea party snacks and tea-with-a-twist will be served throughout the night. So stop by and have a Long Island Iced Tea after work and kick off Tampa Pride week here with us!
Through outreach programs and events, FMoPA fulfills its mission of advancing community engagement with the arts. Your support can help us do that! Also, 10% of all the funds raised for the event will be given to Tampa Pride to help support the LGBT community!
