Momentum Choreographers Showcase: Moving Surreal, presented in partnership with The Dalí Museum, is the culmination of five months of process, experimentation, and artistic development through projectALCHEMY’s Momentum Choreographic Mentorship. The mentorship gives dance makers time, space, guidance, and resources to investigate their artistic voices, take creative risks, and develop original work.

This season, choreographers Curvacia Elysée, Sami Mangione, Aynsleigh Morehouse, and Victoria Gonzalez bring their distinct perspectives into conversation with Dalí in America. Through time spent within the exhibition and museum spaces, each artist has developed a new contemporary dance work shaped by their own movement language, questions, and relationship to surrealism.

The Momentum Choreographers Showcase invites audiences into the culmination of that journey—not simply to witness four new works, but to encounter four artists at a particular moment in their evolving creative practices.
