  • Momentum Choreographers Showcase

Presented in partnership with The Dalí Museum, Moving Surreal features new works by the 2025 Momentum Choreographic Mentorship Artist Cohort—Madison Pineda Bender, Justin Brock, Fernando Chonqui, mariah mashay, and Faith Elizabeth Miller. Each dance-maker draws inspiration from Outside In: New Murals Inspired by Dalí, an exhibition highlighting the work of past and present SHINE St. Petersburg Mural artists.

This one-of-a-kind performance invites audiences to experience the surreal through movement—where bodies become brushstrokes, space becomes canvas, and choreography bridges the vibrant dialogue between public art and embodied imagination.

    Venue:
The Dalí Museum, St. Petersburg, FL

  • MIXed: Across St. Pete

MIXed: Across St. Pete is a city-wide celebration of movement, community, and place. Throughout the week, projectALCHEMY’s company dance artists — Kirsten Standridge, Heidi Brewer, Esophia Higgins-Wilkins, Sam Kedziora, Talia Demps, Antonio Hernandez, and Sarah Hamilton — will create new site-responsive works in seven neighborhoods across St. Petersburg: Roser Park, Historic Kenwood, Maximo Park, Downtown, Edgemoor, Historic Old Northeast, and The Deuces Corridor.

These dance happenings are free and intentionally ephemeral, emerging at various moments throughout the day. They are not heavily advertised. Instead, they are designed to appear organically—inviting residents to encounter dance unexpectedly in the places where they live, walk, and gather. This approach expands the idea of where dance can live and makes the art form accessible to everyone in their everyday environment.

The project concludes with a ticketed closing event at The Studio@620, where the company will create a brand-new, in-the-moment improvisational work that reflects on the dance experiences that unfolded across the city throughout the week. This performance is not a repeat of the neighborhood pieces—it is a reimagining and expansion of the stories, landscapes, and movement research discovered in those spaces, interwoven with short dance films and live music by Darren McFarland.

MIXed: Across St. Pete honors the beauty of St. Petersburg’s neighborhoods, the importance of accessible dance experiences, and the power of movement to illuminate the spaces we call home.

    January 4–9: Citywide
    January 10: Closing Event at The Studio@620 Tickets-$20 General / $15 Students

  • Above/Below

Above/Below is an immersive gallery experience that invites audiences into a dialogue with their own shadows. Rooted in the concept that "the above is of the below and the below is of the above," this collaboration between international director of photography Joey Clay and projectALCHEMY artistic director Alexander Jones explores the embodiment of shadow work through film, photography, and dance.

Through layered visuals and movement, Above/Below leads viewers through the tension and harmony between what we project and what we hide, encouraging a deeper, more vulnerable sense of self-discovery. The gallery becomes a portal: to reflect, to confront, and ultimately to illuminate.

    About Joey Clay
First and foremost, Joey Clay is a father—a role he calls his greatest creation and blessing. Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Joey is an internationally acclaimed Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and Consultant with 23 years behind the lens. His visual storytelling has taken him around the world, working with artists and brands such as Julian Marley, Vivica A. Fox, Giuliana Rancic, Publix, Checkers & Rally’s, and HSN. He approaches every project with a commitment to quality, positivity, and authenticity.

    Date: March 26-28
Venue: Murray Theatre at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater, FL

  • bloom and residue

An immersive visual art + dance experience by Alexander Jones and Rebekah Lazaridis, made possible by the Creative Fellowship at The Palladium.

This reimagining centers on cycles of life and death, memory and presence, and honoring the layers of history held within space and time. In this special iteration, bloom and residue pays homage to the Palladium Theater itself—its architecture, its echoes, its enduring spirit.

Featuring new visual work by Rebekah Lazaridis, whose practice weaves memory, myth, and sense of place into delicate yet grounded visual worlds.
“I am an artist with the heart of a preservationist,” she writes, “as I integrate story, nostalgia, and sense of place within my work… Through illustration, I strive to preserve spaces of personal and collective memory, explore the mystery of the spiritual realm, and dwell in the magical spaces in-between.”
